We had two solatubes installed about 4 years ago and they have made a tremendous difference in our two bathrooms that have no windows in them. The solatubes were so bright that at first we found ourselves trying to switch the light off thinking the electric lights were on - only to discover that the electric lights were already off! We love them! Last April we had a bad hail storm and we asked Peter (who had installed the solatubes earlier) to come and inspect our roof and so...latubes for any damage. There was no damage to the solatubes and the shingle roof had a little damage, but not enough to warrant making a claim on it (it was only 7 years old after being replaced in 2010 due to hail and high winds). During the inspection Peter mentioned that our attic didn't have very good ventilation due to it having only a small ridge vent at the top and too few soffit vents under the eaves. He suggested we think about having a solar attic ventilating fan installed, which we did. We installed the extra soffit vents and Peter installed a new solar attic ventilator that keeps the attic much cooler when the sun is shining. Daylight Rangers is a top-notch outfit. I had a dark entryway that I wanted to lighten up with a solar tube. I reached out to Solar Midwest and they promptly responded, provided the information I needed and scheduled an installer to come out promptly. The installer was very knowledgeable and made sure to inform me of all the details before he started the install (location, how much light I will get in the winter vs. summer to to the pitch in our roof, etc). Solar tubes are great and I would highly recommend this company.

Solar Midwest installed a solar attic fan. I initially had the installation scheduled for Wednesday which was the following day. The installer was in the area and since rain was predicted for Wednesday, he was trying to complete installations on Tuesday while the weather was dry. This worked for me and the installer showed up in the afternoon. It only took him about 15 minutes. He cleaned up any mess made during the installation. He then took the time to examine a possible future installation of a Solatube. I had Solar Midwest install an attic fan in our previous house in 2009. That unit was still working fine when we moved in 2013. I would recommend Solar Midwest for those considering solar energy.

Yesterday we had a 14 inch Sola-Lite installed in our garage. (Already have four in the house.) James was on time, explained the installation process in detail, and the quality of his work exceeded our expectations! He is extremely knowledgeable and personable. Thank you James! While our windowless garage was pitch black in the daytime, it is now bright as can be. We should have done this one year's ago.

I was skeptical about the price of this, UNTIL I started shopping around for installation prices. Clearly this is a very good deal. I love this light! My 2nd story bedroom has a window that opens to my neighbors 2nd story bedroom window. We both keep our blinds shut. So my options were a dimly lit room or bright florescent lights. UNTIL the Solar Tube. It lets in really nice natural light. Even at sunrise/set the way it refracts light it always feels bright in the room now. The light was placed right over my staircase. In the evenings the solar light on the inside of the tube kicks in and lights my staircase well enough that I don't need to flip on the lights if I choose to go downstairs for something. The guy that installed it was very professional, very quick and very clean in his work. All in all the whole experience was great. I'm thinking of getting another one for my bathroom next year!

We had 2 Solatubes installed. From start to finish Daylight Rangers were very courteous and professional. Install went off without issue and everything was nice and clean. We love the natural light that is now coming into the previously dark spaces of our home.

Thank you very much Daylight Rangers Peter and Flora!! Flora educated us in the showroom so we had no doubts we had to have a skytube in our house. Peter installed the tube less than 2 hours work, very professional, not a spot to clean after installation. Very much appreciated! These guys transferred our den into bright inviting place to live in. After years and years of efforts to make the room lighter it turned out to be all we needed to do is to put the skytube on the ceiling. Beautiful daylight, great service, very efficient. Everybody should have Skytube in their house! Highly recommended.

Solargreen team installed two Solartubes for us in mid February. Our representative and installer Gerardo was exceptional. Everything from the estimate process to the install went as he communicated it would. This was our 3rd & 4th tubes installed for us in two different homes. The experience of working with Gerardo was wonderful. He’s the best.

My wife and I recently moved to the area and decided we needed some additional light in one of our rooms. After doing a fair amount of research, we decided to install a SOLA--LITE. We contacted the office in Palm Desert and I have to say, we couldn't be happier with both the product and the people at SOLA-LITE. Everyone was very helpful. We have three solatubes and love the light they allow into once dark spaces. The installations have been flawless. The people from Daylight Rangers are friendly, responsive and helpful. The installers are fast, efficient and they clean up after themselves really well; very rare! We recently put one in the seating area of the master bedroom and love it. We chose not to put the damper in for night time and are perfectly happy with the very soft glow at night. It hasn’t affected our sleep in the least. In fact it’s the perfect unobtrusive night light. We had a solar tube installed in a home office with no windows... Best home improvement that I ever made. I love it. The constantly on lights are no more with the solar tube... and the room is lit perfectly. I especially love the night light effect at night. I highly recommend this product.

The installers we great and left the place spotless. There was a big storm the evening after the install & not a drop of water so that alleviated that concern. And the Solatube totally changed the atmosphere of where it was installed - I LOVE it! And an electrician that was in for some other work, commented on it so I gave him brochures with a glowing recommendation.

Very pleased, only two hours to install, and installer very knowledgeable, made a big difference in our dark area with the 14 inch tube.

The Solar Midwest team was great. From the initial visit to the install, the staff were knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They were able to come out and install quickly, helped me choose the diffuser that gave me the right level of brightness, and advised me how to take advantage of maximum tax credits. The whole experience was excellent and I LOVE my new solar tube.

Amazingly quick install (trying to beat the rain!) and the new solatube has done wonders for our dark stairway. I will be getting another one.

Wow! What a difference these tubes have made in our home! We put two in our kitchen, one in our laundry room, one in the hallway, one in our master bathroom, and one in our guest bathroom. They let so much sunlight in! It’s like a different house!

great product and professional installation

Our installer was on time, very knowledgeable, clean and efficient. He explained everything he was going to do. He asked for our approval to prepare the ceiling for the solar tube installation as well as our roof by explaining what he was going to do. He showed us options to consider and the value of each. When installation was completed we were shown the uses and the added benefits. We would give Gerardo AAA+ knowledge, workmanship, cleaning up afterwards, and always asking for approval while demonstrating what he was going to do. We are very happy with the finished product and amazed at the light we now have on the room.

I feel so sorry that I cannot remember people's names. BUT, in overall, this company is awesome!!!! We did our first cost estimate the beginning of last year, in 2017. The estimator was really nice to check the house carefully and explain every detail for us. Due to our budget issue, we could not make it happen. At the end of last year, we re-thought about this service. So we called them again to do the cost estimate. The old man who answered the phone was patient on all the questions that I asked. Later, my husband and I visited their showroom in Plano. The young lady helped us to figure out which products are good for our house. She also explained the tax return benefit and showed us how to fill in the paperwork. She was awesome!! On the installation day, the old man who came to our house looked professional. He covered the furniture and baby's play mat in our front hall, worked quietly, fast and keep everything clean. A couple of days after installation, I can tell the big difference there. We don't need to turn on the light even in cloudy/shady days when my baby is playing there. I highly recommend their products and service. Once we have another budget, we believe we will do more in our dark kitchen XD

Friendly quiet and illuminating experience

I decided to get a solar tube and within only a few days Daylight was at my house, gave me the quote, which was great, and did the installation that same day. I love the tube, it illuminates a long, dark entryway and is especially wonderful during the night, no need to turn on lights. I HIGHLY recommend these guys and their products.

I love mine . I can go into the kitchen at night and never have to turn the light on. The installation was done quickly with a perfect clean up. I highly recommend this company and their product.

Great product to get light on the main level in my older story and a half house. Install took less than 2 hours and the installer was very professional and knowledgeable as was the salesperson. I did notice the tube material appeared somewhat flimsy which shouldn't be a big deal since it's in an area rarely if ever accessed.

I Love the solar tubes that were installed in my home. They brighten the rooms with an unbelievable amount of light. The night lights inside the tubes make it feel like moonlight in the room. The installation was quick and the installer cleaned everything up nicely. I'm hoping to get one more next year. The 30% tax credit is a great incentive.

I live in manufactured home which has over hang porches. This makes the place dark Inside. I have 3 tubes in my place and it has made a world of a different. Our kitchen is in an interior portion of our house and was dark during the day requiring us to keep the lights on in order to see properly. Now with our Sola-Lite Tube installed, we have natural daylight all day long. It has made a significant difference. No more turning the lights on during the day!

Love, love, love this product! We had one installed in the late 1990's in an interior bathroom, and it was perfect. We just bought a different house, and had 2 installed before we even moved in! One in another interior bathroom, and also in the kitchen. They look beautiful, bring in so much light, and the new nightlight feature is just the right amount of light. The 30% tax credit will be a nice bonus, but we would recommend Solatubes to anyone. In fact, both of our new neighbors have been in to see them, and are considering an installation as well!

This organization really knows what they're doing! They're considerate of the homeowner they clean up when they are done, lay a tarp down underneath the ladder and do the job right. From beginning to end the installation took less than 2 hours. Our salesman was low pressure and allowed us to make our own decisions after explaining the product to us. I could not recommend them any more highly than I am! It brightens up my windowless den so much! It was too bright at first but they gave me a filter and lighting is perfect now. Reasonable price and excellent service.

The three 10 inch Solatubes I had installed are providing bright wonderful light where once it was dark. The two in the kitchen light up the appliances and work spaces making it a more cheerful place to be. The one in the hallway from bedrooms to the main bathroom lights up that once dreary space making it more welcoming to guests. The nightlights in all three Solatubes light these two spaces at night just enough to see your path without flipping a light switch. Truly a proper investment.

I had a 14" solartube installed in my dark living room 2 weeks ago. I cannot believe the difference it has made in my art work and the colors on my walls. I keep telling myself I need to turn off the light. This investment is one of the best things I have done in my home. And, I have been remodeling my home for 4 years now. Love, Love, Love the integrity, honesty and assistance of installers on making the right decisions with where to place the solartube and the lenses that would work best in my home. We had solatubes installed in our hallway last year and loved it. This year we called again to have it installed in the living room. James came all the way to Riverside to install solatube in our living room. Our family was very satisfied with his work, professionalism, and customer service! We will contact him again for future installation.

Greatest idea ever. Not real happy with the install, kind of took the easy way out and now it will cost me more money to have a vent reinstalled, but I love the solatube

Every step of this process was positive. Ted at the showroom was knowledgeable and professional. During installation, Carlos was helpful in choosing the best placement and size of Solatube. My only mistake was not doing this 10 years ago. The change in my DARK kitchen is amazing. I strongly recommend Daylight Rangers, I am going to put another one in my home soon and wouldn't consider another company.

We have two SolaTubes installed in our house. We put one in a dark stairwell a few years ago, and a 2nd one in laundry room in June 2017. These are terrific and Solar Midwest did a fine job installing them. They were on-time, professional, courteous, and quick. These really brighten up these areas in our house. If the sky is clear and the moon is up, they even provide good light at night! Both the product and the installer are highly recommended.

Carlos, the installer provided several alternatives for installation. He was friendly and easy to work with. Installation was fast, post project clean up left no trace he was ever here. When I remodel my windowless master bath, a Solatube will definitely be included. Having so much light in a normally dark room is wonderful.

I had 2 of thes lights installed today in Riverside. Sergio Diaz, my technician was incredible! Very personable, knowledgeable and tidy. These Solalite fixtures really brighten up my dark dining room and bathroom. Wish I would have done this years ago. I thought the price was very fair. $1590 for both packages. It took Sergio about 4 hours to complete the job. The dining room fixture is quite a bit larger than the bathroom one. Next month I will have them installed in my Palm Desert home.

Love the Solatube! Installer was quick and made sure not to leave behind a mess. The sales staff was great as the more we talked the more advantages she brought to my attention. Definitely not high pressure.

Everyone at the company is professional, they do what they say they're going to do, show up on schedule, and no surprises at the install. There was also a follow up call a couple of days later checking to make sure there were no issues. I highly recommend them.

I am in love with my new lighted hallway. The installer was quick, pleasant, and cleaned up any debris caused by enlarging the existing lighting location. I will be showing off my new light for some time. Got the nightlight feature which is perfect.

I had one installed a year ago and liked it so much that I decided to have another one put in in the kitchen. I am so happy with both of them and love the night light feature. Unfortunately the night light in the one that is a year old has suddenly stopped. Disappointed in that. I called and was told the battery is probably dead. I did not know there was that possibility and have a vaulted ceiling and am not able to replace it as I have no way of reaching it.

I am so happy that I decided to install solatube in two bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room. It has made such a difference. I never have to turn on the light in these rooms. I love that they all have a night light in them. I always had to have the light on in the kitchen, whether it was sunny or gloomy. Now, I don't need to turn the light on to cook. One of my neighbors came over, and couldn't believe the difference it made. She contacted Solatube to have them install a couple in her house. This was money well spent, and their service is Excellent!!

Two of my neighbors had your skylights installed several years ago & they were beautiful day or night & totally trouble free of problems. I had two skylights installed along with a solar roof fan & could not be more impressed with the quality of product or the professional ability of the installers.

Our experience with Sola-Lite was excellent. Dennis the installer was very professional, and easy to work with as he explained the installation location options for the two devices (in separate rooms). He cleaned up completely when he had finished. All we had to do was enjoy!!

The installation of the solatube was quick, clean and seemed uncomplicated. Dennis, the installer, was very nice and helpful. I love having daylight in my dining room! The night light in one of the tubes lights the way to the kitchen during the night. I am planning on installing a couple of more in the near future. This company is awesome in every way.
